The Symbolism of the Phoenix-
In Ancient Greek folklore, a phoenix is a bird that cyclically regenerates. The classic image of the phoenix is one of a bird “rising” from the ash of its predecessor- symbolizing the strength of spirit to regenerate again and again; to metamorphose, and transcend adversity.
What is Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy?
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT) is a holistic healing art that blends ancient yogic techniques and modern therapeutic approaches to support you in your personal process of transformation and healing.
In a PRYT session, we use yoga-informed movements, compassionate self-awareness and dialogue to shine light on the dark and hidden corners of the body, mind and heart. This is a process that allows us to see ourselves more clearly, cultivating clarity, insight and wisdom, so we can, like the phoenix, rise from the ashes of our histories, past hurts, injuries, physical and emotional traumas, and embrace growth and change as we choose the direction we want to go.
Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, we are given tools to see ourselves more clearly, In a one-on-one session, you will be guided through a process that:
